Who we are
Bearded Brothers Automation ("Bearded Brothers", "we") is a small automation agency based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Our website is beardedbrothers.cloud. Contact: mick@beardedbrothers.cloud.
Rubric and Google user data
Rubric is our internal business tool. It is not a public product and is used only by Bearded Brothers.
Rubric connects to the Gmail accounts of our own business through Google sign-in and requests one
scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly (read-only).
- What we access: the messages in our own business mailboxes, read-only. We cannot send, delete, or change mail.
- Why: solely to triage the owner's inbox: sorting and flagging what needs a reply or action.
- Where it lives: on the owner's private server. It is not stored with third parties.
- What we never do: sell it, share it, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI or machine-learning models.
Google API Services User Data Policy: Limited Use
Bearded Brothers Automation's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide and improve the user-facing triage feature described above. We do not transfer it to others except as needed to provide that feature, to comply with law, or as part of a merger or sale with notice. We do not use it for serving advertisements. No humans read it except with the account owner's consent, for security or abuse investigation, or to comply with law. We do not use it to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine-learning models.
Revoking access and deletion
You can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To have data we hold deleted, email mick@beardedbrothers.cloud and we will delete it.
This website
This site uses PostHog analytics to understand page visits. We do not sell personal information. If you email or call us, we use your details only to reply.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
